Tick Tok, the short video format has in a way changed social media everyone seems to be busy copying Tick Tok. First, it was Instagram first it was Facebook Instagram brought in reels as a direct competition to tick-tok then and now Twitter is introducing a new tick-tok-like scrolling video feature.

Tick Tok says it is updating its video player to be immersive what does that mean it means that if you tap on your screen the video will be full screen and as you scroll you can view more engaging content so precisely the same as Tick Tok or Instagram reels. The new feature will roll out on the iOS Twitter app soon and for now, it will only be available to select people around the world. The company is also adding a video Carousel to its explore cab tab,  this is a massive change for the social media platform until now videos were only a part of tweets and now they will be a separate experience altogether, this comes as companies remain worried about Tick-Tok the short video platform has emerged as the social app of the moment.
